We established the Foundation in November 2020 as one of the actions resulting from the development strategy we adopted until 2030 (Pillar IV, "Responsible Company" programme) and after identifying the growing needs in the immediate environment, further highlighted by the Sars-Covid-19 virus pandemic.
The main goals of the Foundation are to prevent digital exclusion of children and young people, to support the implementation of innovative ideas, and to co-finance ecological and environmental initiatives. The first donors to the Foundation were representatives of the CVC Fund and the Fund itself, who allocated a total of PLN 1.4 million for a programme under which PKP Energetyka employees' children received new computers for remote learning.
Half a thousand new computers for remote learning will be given to children from the neediest families of PKP Energetyka Group employees across Poland. This is the first action carried out under the auspices of Fundacja Dobra Energia, established on the initiative of PKP Energetyka, which aims, among others things, to prevent the digital exclusion of children and young people. read more >
