As of 13.01.2016, the sole shareholder of PKP Energetyka S.A. is PKPE Holding Sp. z o.o., owned by CVC Capital Partners, one of the largest investment funds in the world.
It manages funds entrusted by respected financial institutions, state and pension funds e.g. the U.S. Railroad Retirement System, the New York State Teachers' Retirement Program and the Canadian Retirement Program.
